Center For Neighborhoods is announcing the second year for the Grassroots Gala. All neighborhood associations are invited to participate!

- Location - TARC Union Station,
10th and Broadway - 12:00 Noon - 4:00 PM
* UofL plays Eastern KY on 9/11 at 3:30 PM at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Come tailgate with us at the Gala before the game! We have the food and beer!

Taste of Neighborhoods
Enjoy over a dozen delicious samples from local restaurants and caterers. Free offerings will be available throughout the Gala. Attendees can peruse the neighborhood booths while snacking on Louisville’s finest edibles.
Get involved!
Restaurants and Catering Companies - We are still accepting participants and donations. We ask that you provide approximately 100 samples. Your business will receive signage at the event, 2 free tickets to the Gala, and you will be listed on the website.

Neighborhood Booths
Neighborhood booths highlight each neighborhood in many different,
creative ways. This is your opportunity to learn about all the neighborhoods in our community, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and expand your network. Examples of past booth themes include:
- Photos and archives
- Conduct surveys
- Feature a neighborhood “jewel”
- Promote upcoming events
- Focus on an important issue
Get involved! Neighborhood Associations and Non-Profit Groups - We are still accepting applications for booths. Your organization must be a member of Center For Neighborhoods. “Keep Louisville Weird” Raffle
We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Louisville Independent Business Association (LIBA). Thanks to our generous sponsor (LIBA), items from LIBA member businesses will be raffled continuously throughout the event until all have been claimed. A minimum of three items per hour will be raffled (i.e. every 20 minutes). Listen for your number or check the raffle board to see if your winning number has been drawn. $5.00 per chance; must be present to win.

Our local brewery, BBC, will offer two refreshing beverages on tap in the Community Beer Garden located in the outside pavilion of TARC. Relax with neighbors and friends in the garden, purchase an ale and “take a stroll” through Louisville neighborhoods.

Volunteer
Volunteer needed for the Gala! CFN is looking for Team captains and general
volunteers to help in the following areas or committees: Set up, Admission
table, Taste Of Neighborhood booth, Media Assistance, Community Beer Garden,
Raffle booth, Recycle and Litter or Tear down
Team captains
- Assist throughout the whole day of the event by overseeing a specific area (11:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Receive official Gala poster (suitable for framing)
- Receive a CFN t-shirt or Tote Bag and sticker
- Receive FREE admission to the Gala
- Receive 2 FREE beverage tickets
- 2 hour shift between the hours of 10:00 - 4:00 PM
- Receive FREE admission to the Gala
- Receive 2 FREE beverage tickets
Together, we can make this event FUN and successful! We need volunteers to help organize before, during and after the event. Please consider becoming a member of the Grassroots Gala Steering Committee!
