The Grassroots Gala is the authentic celebration of all Louisville neighborhoods providing the opportunity to showcase their individual character and unique assets.
Taste of Neighborhoods
Enjoy over a dozen delicious samples from local restaurants and caterers. Free offerings will be available throughout the Gala. Attendees can peruse the neighborhood booths while snacking on Louisville's finest edibles, including: Big Momma's Soul Kitchen,
City Cafe, Happy Balls, Heine Bros., Mark's Feed Store,
Nancy's Bagels, Ramsi's Cafe, Red Hot Roasters, Safiers,
Sicilian Pizza and Pasta, Smoketown USA, ValuMarket,and Wiltshire Pantry + more to be announced.
Neighborhood Booths Neighborhood booths will highlight each neighborhood in many different, creative ways. This is your opportunity to learn about all the neighborhoods in our community, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and expand your network.
"Keep Louisville Weird" Raffle
Items from members of the Louisville Independent Business Association (LIBA) will be raffled continuously throughout the event until all items have been claimed. A minimum of three items will be raffled every hour throughout the Gala. Listen for your number to be called or check the raffle board to see if your winning number has been drawn. $5.00 per chance; must be present to win.
BBC Community Beer Garden Louisville's local brewery, BBC, will offer two refreshing beverages on tap in the Community Beer Garden located in the outside pavilion of TARC. Relax with neighbors and friends in the garden, purchase an ale and "take a stroll" through Louisville neighborhoods.
