This is a reminder to all the wonderful volunteers who are planning to attend on Saturday.  Please let me know if anything has changed and you are NOT going to make it.

 

We have all the materials and supplies ready.  All we need is you, in your old work clothing. 

 

On Saturday, I will have a tent for shade.  Also, we have plenty of water and snacks to keep everyone going.  I'll be on-site by 9:30.

Hello. I hope this email finds you well. 

 

Center For Neighborhoods is assisting the Russell Community Garden with the install of a reclaimed 4-foot picket fence around their flower garden.  There are 21 sections of 8-foot fencing that need to be installed.  It will be installed on at the corner of 22nd and Cedar Streets.  This is a beautiful west end community garden and they can really use the help, as many of their members are seniors.  

 

We are seeking a group of volunteers that are interested in collaborating as a team to make easy work of this fence project. 

 

Saturday, July 10th

10:00 AM - Installation Group - responsible for erecting the fence

11:30 AM - Painters Group - responsible for painting the fence

 

I'm unsure how long this whole process will actually take.  It is possible we can have it finished by 2:00, but it could take longer depending on how easily things go.

 

Center For Neighborhoods will take care of all the tools and supplies.  We will also have water and snacks.  All we need is YOU!
