Program Administrator
for Center for Neighborhoods
(Part-time position)
Center
for Neighborhoods (CFN) is seeking a part-time Program Administrator.
We are looking for a committed candidate who wants to put their civic
engagement and community building skills to active use in our community.
This part-time position will report to the Associate Director.
Position Summary:
- The CFN Program Administrator will support the programs and initiatives of CFN. Some of these programs may be the Neighborhood Institute; the Green Institute; Walkability Assessments; the Paint Program (Partnering Art In Neighborhoods Together); Neighborhood Start-Ups and Assessments and Neighborhood Assistance and Technical Support. The work might be research in the office, seeking best practices for one of our programs. It also might entail walking door-to-door in a community taking surveys, participating in a neighborhood presentation/meeting or working a booth at a community event.
Skills:
If you have the following skills, then you are the ideal candidate:
- Computer skills - from data entry to list building
- Research capabilities - from surveys to program development to best practices
- Writing skills - ability to develop flyers, workshop agendas, etc.
- Electronic Marketing - web sites, Facebook, email marketing, etc.
- Facilitation - ability to lead a group or presentation
- Diversity - ability to work with diverse groups and individuals

Hours:
Negotiable.
The CFN associate director will work with the chosen candidate to
determine an appropriate schedule. This is a 15 - 20 hours/week
position.
Salary:
$16,000 through June 30, 2013
Location of Work:
CFN's
office is located in downtown Louisville (610 S. Fourth Street, Suite
701 on the southwest corner of 4th and Chestnut Streets). Work may also
take place in the community at events and programs. Cost for daily
parking is the responsible of the employee.
